  • WITH YOUR CONSENT — In any other circumstance, only with your explicit prior consent

Our primary third-party data processors currently include Go High Level (CRM and form management). Their privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

DATA RETENTION

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.

  • Inquiry and contact form submissions are retained for up to 2 years from the date of submission
  • Client project records are retained for a minimum of 7 years to comply with Canadian tax and business record requirements
  • Website analytics data is retained for up to 13 months
  • Email and communication records are retained for the duration of the business relationship plus 3 years

When personal information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymize it. You may request earlier deletion of your information subject to legal retention requirements — see Section 09 for your rights.

SECURITY

Vertex Fabrication Canada takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures include:

  • Use of reputable, security-conscious third-party platforms for data storage and processing
  • Access controls limiting who within our organization can access personal information
  • HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted through the Site
  • Regular review of our data handling practices

No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as required by PIPEDA.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • ESSENTIAL COOKIES — Required for the Site to function correctly. These cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality

  • FORM & CRM COOKIES — Set by our embedded form provider (Go High Level) to manage form sessions and submissions

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how it is being used.

RIGHT TO CORRECTION

Request that inaccurate or incomplete personal information be corrected or updated.

RIGHT TO WITHDRAWAL

Withdraw consent for the use of your personal information where consent is the basis for processing, subject to legal or contractual limitations.

RIGHT TO DELETION

Request deletion of your personal information where it is no longer necessary for the purposes collected, subject to legal retention requirements.

RIGHT TO COMPLAINT

File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.

RIGHT TO OBJECT

Object to the use of your personal information for direct communications or non-essential business purposes.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the details in Section 13. We will respond to all requests within 30 days. In some cases, we may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources. These links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement by Vertex Fabrication Canada.

We have no control over the content, privacy practices, or data handling of third-party sites. Once you leave our Site, this Privacy Policy no longer applies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Site and services of Vertex Fabrication Canada are intended for business and professional use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18.
